April Examination :A candidate who is 14 years on or before 31st July of the year is eligible to take admission to the Secondary School Certificate Examination. There is no upper age limit for admission.October Examination :A candidate who is 14 years on or before 31st January of the year is eligible to take admission to the Secondary School Certificate Examination. In case of Govt. schools the transfer certificate/school leaving certificate should be signed by principal while in the case of Private school it should also be countersigned by the competent education authority of State/District Education Officer.Four recent passport size(3 cm X 2 cm) photographs with name and date of birth.Copy of Aadhar card.PASSING & CERTIFICATION CRITERIA :A minimum of 33% marks in the aggregate (theory+practical’s where applicable) in the public examination.
